Last updated: June 19, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using JointSpeech ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including businesses and individuals.

2. Description of Service

JointSpeech provides real-time speech transcription, translation, and AI-assisted communication tools intended for use in business settings such as call centers, retail locations, and customer-facing teams. The Service is provided on an "as is" basis.

3. Permitted Use

You may use JointSpeech only for lawful business purposes. You agree not to use the Service to record or transcribe conversations without the consent of all parties where required by law, to impersonate others, to harass or harm any person, or to violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law.

4. Consent to Transcription

You are solely responsible for obtaining any required consent from individuals whose speech is transcribed or translated using the Service. Laws regarding call recording and transcription vary by jurisdiction. JointSpeech is not responsible for any legal liability arising from your failure to obtain proper consent.

5. Accuracy Disclaimer

JointSpeech uses AI-powered speech recognition and translation. While we strive for accuracy, transcriptions and translations may contain errors. Do not rely solely on JointSpeech output for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions. JointSpeech is not liable for any harm resulting from inaccurate transcription or translation.

6. Account and Access

Access to JointSpeech may require an account or subscription. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@jointspeech.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

7. Payment and Subscription

Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis as selected at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact hello@jointspeech.com within 7 days of a charge if you believe an error occurred.

8. Intellectual Property

All software, design, branding, and content comprising JointSpeech are the intellectual property of JointSpeech and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute any part of the Service without written permission.

9. Third-Party Services

JointSpeech relies on third-party APIs including Deepgram (speech recognition), OpenAI (translation and AI), and ElevenLabs (voice synthesis). Service availability may be affected by the availability of these providers. JointSpeech is not responsible for outages or changes in third-party services.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JointSpeech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, JointSpeech, or third parties.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The updated date at the top of this page will reflect changes. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
